Vision Therapy

Vision Training/ Visual Perceptual Motor Integration Therapy.
Vision training is an individualized program targeted to normalize one’s visual functions. The program is mainly designed to focus on children with: Strabismus (squint), Amblyopia (lazy eye), Visual-motor integration (eyehand) problem, Visual dysfunction and Visual perceptual problems that are causing learning difficulties. As it is an individualized program, the developmental & behavioural optometrist would design the training program according to the child’s problem and his/ her abilities. Learning the exercises in office and practicing them at home are equally important. In order to achieve the best outcome, the child, the parents and the optometrist (and sometimes the school teacher) must collaborate and work closely together as a team.
